Does JD offer trial classes?

Absolutely! And they are always 100% free! We offer trial classes during the fall because we know how valuable it is to have your child try out the activity before laying out the money to sign them up long-term. Trial classes cannot be scheduled for classes that are currently full/waitlisted. To schedule a FREE trial class contact us!

What do I need to bring/wear?

If you are just trying out the class for the first time, have your dancer wear comfortable clothes they can move in such as leggings and a plain t-shirt. Outside shoes are not permitted inside the dance studio room, so have your dancer wear socks if they do not have proper dance shoes yet. Always pack a water for class and have your hair pulled back. What is included in tuition?

Your monthly tuition includes so much more than just dance class! Dancers develop strong technique, creativity, coordination, and performance skills while experiencing growth in both their physical and mental well-being. Through dance, students build confidence, discipline, and friendships that extend beyond the studio walls.Each class participates in our annual June Recital, giving dancers the exciting opportunity to learn and perform choreography on stage as part of a team. This valuable performance experience helps students gain confidence, stage presence, and lasting memories.JD Dance Studio offers competitive pricing for the surrounding area because we believe quality dance education should be accessible to all families. Do I need previous experience?

No, previous dance experience is not required for most classes at JD Dance Studio. We welcome dancers of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced performers.However, Advanced-Level classes, Pointe, specialized Acro skills classes, and Private Lessons require instructor approval and/or specific prerequisites to ensure dancers are placed safely and appropriately. Please speak with our staff for more information about class placement and requirements.
