Absolutely! And they are always 100% free! We offer trial classes during the fall because we know how valuable it is to have your child try out the activity before laying out the money to sign them up long-term. If you are just trying out the class for the first time, have your dancer wear comfortable clothes they can move in such as leggings and a plain t-shirt. Outside shoes are not permitted inside the dance studio room, so have your dancer wear socks if they do not have proper dance shoes yet. Always pack a water for class and have your hair pulled back. No, previous dance experience is not required for most classes at JD Dance Studio. We welcome dancers of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced performers.However, Advanced-Level classes, Pointe, specialized Acro skills classes, and Private Lessons require instructor approval and/or specific prerequisites to ensure dancers are placed safely and appropriately. Please speak with our staff for more information about class placement and requirements.
