Our Story
A Passion for Dance, A Commitment to Every Child
JD Dance Studio was founded by Miss Julie O'Neill with a lifelong passion for dance and a vision to create a welcoming, family-focused studio where every child can learn, grow, and shine.
From a lifelong love of dance to becoming a New York State Certified Dance Educator, Miss Julie turned her dream into reality by opening JD Dance Studio in Mineola in 2023. As the studio quickly grew, a second location opened in Williston Park in 2025. Today, JD Dance Studio proudly serves 250+ dancers, providing exceptional training in a positive and supportive environment.

JD Dance Studio was founded by Miss Julie O'Neill with a passion for helping children grow through dance. Her mission is to create a passionate, family-focused environment where every dancer feels supported, inspired, and confident.
About Miss Julie
From dancing at the age of three to earning a Bachelor's of Science in Dance Education, becoming a New York State K–12 Certified Dance Educator, competition judge, high school dance teacher and studio owner, Miss Julie has dedicated her life to teaching and inspiring young dancers. Today, JD Dance Studio proudly serves more than 250 dancers across two Long Island locations.
